LINGAYEN — A couple were killed when they were shot by unidentified armed motorcycle  men riding in tandem in Barangay Poblacion, Lingayen at about 7:30 p.m. on December 18 as they were going home on board their own motorcycle.

The Lingayen police identified the victims as Danny Alimbuyao and his wife, Prescilla. The two just came from their grocery store located at the Lingayen Public Market when the incident happened.

Both suspects were rushed to the Nazarene General Hospital by members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office but were declared dead on arrival due to several gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies.

Robbery was tagged by the police as the possible motive of the double slaying as the shoulder bag of Prescilla Alimbuyao, presumably containing their sales from their grocery store for the day was missing.

A witness said one of the suspects has a mole on his left check near his nose, which was further verified as a man who was previously charged for robbery and stealing a motorcycle  (Leonardo Micua)
