Barredo brothers shine in PBF championship

THE Barredo brothers from Dagupan City made waves at the 4th Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF) Youth Quarterly Championship held Nov. 25 at the Sta. Lucia East Bowling Center in Cainta. Rizal.

Siblings Luis and Matt Tabayoyong  Barredo, both of DATBi-Nobleland performed creditably in the juniors and majors divisions, respectively.

Luis topped the Juniors Division when he amassed 969 points after five games while JC Mendoza of SLETBA team carded 878 points to place second while Daryl Gamboa of TBAM-PRIMA got 872 points for third place.

Earlier, Barredo bagged the 4th runner-up honor in the Open Masters final in the 10th CETBA-NBT Open Tenpin Bowling Championships held at SM City Cebu. He was the youngest of all the 36 finalists.

Meanwhile, Matt ended with 5.5 in the Majors division.
