AFTER hearing mass at the Manaoag Church, Gov. Amado Espino III, his father Fifth District Rep. Amado Espino Jr. and his  brother, Mayor Jumel Espino, along with their fellow candidates, trooped to the Provincial Elections Office on Monday (Oct. 15) to file their respective certificates of candidacy (CoC).

Running under the ruling party PDP-Laban, Gov. Espino and Rep. Espino Jr. are seeking  reelection for a second term of office while Bugallon Mayor Espino is running for congressman in the Second District.

All sporting red shirts, the Espinos were accompanied by Mrs. Priscilla Espino, wife of Congressman Espino, who reports said, is running for mayor of Bugallon to replace Jumel.

Gov. Espino filed his COC with his running-mate, former 3rd District Board Member Angel Baniqued of San Carlos City, who will square off with the Nacionalista Party tandem of Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste and retired Police Supt.
