San Jacinto cop’s family is region’s Model PNP Family

LINGAYEN—The provincial government commended SPO3 Leonardo T. Frias, Sr. and his family for being cited as the regional winner and the 4th runner-up in the national level for 2018 Search for Model Philippine National Police Family.

The commendation was made official through Provincial Resolution No. 1843-2018 adopted during a regular session on September 17, authored by Board Member Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario and BM Liberato Z. Villegas.

A native of Bantayan, Mangaldan town, SPO3 Frias, who is fondly known as “Supremo” in their locality, is currently assigned at San Jacinto Municipal Police Station.

The resolution reads “SPO3 Leonardo T. Frias, Sr. and his family have emphasized the importance of strong family ties in contributing their concerted efforts to promote socio-civic, spiritual, moral and community activities” as it further stated that the police officer and his family is unquestionably the pride and treasures of the province who are worthy of emulation.

“SPO3 Leonardo T. Frias, Sr. was never discouraged to strive harder in life as he bravely faced all the trials and challenges that came along, paving the way for his sterling performance as a Police Officer,” the resolution partly stated.

Frias and his family received the regional award at the Police Regional Office 1 in San Fernando, La Union last September 9 while the national award was conferred on him on September 14 in an awarding ceremony held at Camp Crame.

The Search for 2018 Philippine National Police (PNP) Model Family was organized by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) in cooperation with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the PNP, and other stakeholders to exemplify the police image as community leaders and partners in keeping peaceful and well-secured communities.
