ROSALES—The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) inaugurated its regional office in Barangay Carmay East this town on Sept. 14 to serve Pangasinan and nearby provinces.

PRC Commissioner Jose Dueto Jr. expressed his gratitude to philanthropist Bobby Rodriguez for donating a 3,000 square-meter lot where the building was erected and to Abono party-list Rep. Conrado Estrella III for sourcing funds for the project.

Estrella said he wants to put an additional budget to augment the P34-million already used for the completion of other facilities needed.

Other national government agencies like the Office of the Ombudsman, National Tobacco Administration, Land Transportation Office, Technical Education Skills Development Authority have put up their offices/buildings also at the area where the new PRC regional office was built.

Estrella said, “What we are doing here is planting the seeds that would later make Rosales a city. It may not come true in my lifetime but I’m sure it will come because we are planting the seeds.”

“Help me plant the seeds of progress in Rosales,” he added. (PhilStar wire service)
