MSTP completers say project may usher them towards a brighter future

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — The graduates of the Pangasinan Mobile Skills Training Project (PMSTP) from Rosales expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government of Pangasinan for mounting programs that would bring them toward youth’s brighter future.

 “Sa lahat po ng bumubuo sa MSTP, sana po ay hindi kayo magsawang tumulong at sana’y marami pa pong programa gaya nito ang maipatupad,” said Mary Joyce Caparas, one of the recipients of completion certificate after finishing basic electrical installation and maintenance training course.

 “Sana ay hindi matapos dito ‘yung mga pinag-aralan natin at magamit natin ito sa hinaharap,” Caparas said to her fellow graduates.

The said training which gathered 25 aspirants from Rosales started on August 13 and culminated through a brief graduation rites held at the Rosales Municipall Plaza Covered Court on September 11.

Representing Governor Amado I. Espino, III, Pangasinan Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) Manager Alex F. Ferrer commended the graduates of the 22-day training organized by the provincial government in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – Pangasinan.

Ferrer added that Governor Espino is planning to purchase more training trucks, in addition to the two existing training trucks, to expand the free training program of the administration.

 “Umasa kayo na patuloy ang serbisyo ng provincial government sa pamumuno ni Governor Espino bilang ama ng ating probinsya at makakarating ang bawat programa sa mga bayan-bayan at bawat barangay ng ating lalawigan,” Ferrer said.

The PESO manager also disclosed that the provincial government will provide financial assistance to every completer of the training which they can use in preparation for their employment in companies affiliated with the Pangasinan PESO.

The training truck, the first of its kind in the country,  is set to mount  trainings in masonry and in basic electrical installation and maintenance in San Manuel on September 17. /Shiella Mae C. De Guzman
