Barangay kapitan dead
SAN JACINTO—The barangay chairman of Bolo, San Jacinto was gunned down and killed in Barangay Capaoay here at 2:00 p.m. on September 18.
Edward Ronquillo, the barangay chairman, was riding his motorcycle along the barangay road in Capaoay after coming from a meeting at the municipal hall in Poblacion, San Jacinto when shot by a lone suspect.
A police report identified the suspect as one Christian Banderlipe, who first accosted the victim before shooting him in different parts of his body. The suspect is now the objective of intensive police manhunt.
Motive of the shooting is still unknown.
The suspect was rushed to the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City where he was declared dead on arrival. (Leonardo Micua)
