LINGAYEN — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently conferred to the provincial government the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) bronze award.

CSC Lingayen Office Director Flordeliza Bugtong, presented the said award to Governor Amado Espino III during the August 6 regular flag-raising ceremony.

The award attests to the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO)’s compliance with the PRIME-HRM maturity indicators, including the processes, programs and projects performed and managed by the province for its employees which are attuned to CSC requirements.

Among the 43 awardees, Pangasinan, Cebu and Aklan are the only three provinces in the country to be cited.

Receiving the award on behalf of Governor Espino during the awarding ceremony of the 2018 Public Sector HR Symposium held on July 20 in Davao City were Assistant Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Officer Jaile De Leon, and Internal Auditor IV Louie Ocampo.

Pangasinan PHRMDO Chief Janette C. Asis shared the best practices of Pangasinan representing all local government units in the country during the program which gathered almost 2,500 HR practitioners from the government, private sector, and member states of the ASEAN community. (PIO/MGNO)
