Student caught with marijuana in class
LAOAC — A Grade 8 student of the Calmay Integrated School in Laoac town was turned over to the police by his teacher when he was found in possession of one sachet of marijuana leaves and two sticks of Mighty cigarette while inside the classroom.
Carlos Miguel Del Mundo, 15, kept the sachet of marijuana and two sticks of cigarette inside his school bag and was caught while showing these to his classmates.
The seized items were forwarded by the Laoac Police to the PDEA Region 1 for laboratory examination while Del Mundo was temporarily placed under the custody of Women and Child Police Desk (WCPD) of the Laoac Police with the knowledge of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
