Kagawad nabbed for gun, ammunition
LINGAYEN— The Lingayen police arrested an incumbent barangay kagawad here following the service of search warrant at his residence in Barangay Malawa at about 5:40 a.m, on June 10.
The suspect was identified as Rodolfo de Guzman, 55, in whose house the joint elements of the 1st Provincial Mobile Company and the Lingayen police seized one Cal. 38 Smith and Wesson Revolver with four live bullets.
The search warrant for violation of Presidential Decree No. 8294 as amended by Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition) and R. A. 8294 as amended by R.A. 9516 both issued by Acting Presiding Judge Mervin Jovita Samadan, acting presiding judge of Regional Trial Court in Burgos town. (Leonardo Micua)
