Five apprehended for smoking in public
LINGAYEN—Five persons were apprehended separately by the police for smoking in public on June 10
Arrested in Malasiqui town were Diolazo, 40, of Barangay Tambac, an embalmer; William Laya, 55, a driver of Barangay David, Mangaldan; and Eddie Galoy, 47, of Panda, Bulacan.
Also apprehended were Salvador Bonzo, 66, of Barlo, Mabini, who was arrested at the Dasol Public Market, and Nonie Tamondong, 42, of Barangay Central, Tarlac City who was arrested at the Bagsakan Market in Villasis.
They were all charged with Violation of Executive Order No. 26 but since it was only their first offense, the five were ordered to render community service in towns where they were apprehended. (Leonardo Micua)
