Drug personality escapes slay try
CALASIAO–A drug personality on the watch list was shot by an unidentified suspect in Barangay San Vicente here on June 6 at 4:50 p.m. but survived.
The victim, Johnfar de Celis Lamzen, sustained gunshot wounds on his left leg, left arm and butt and was rushed to the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City where he is now recuperating.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was in front of their family house when the suspect arrived and opened the steel gate of the house, then fired several shots at the victim.
The suspect immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident.
The Calasiao Police said the victim is included in the BADAC (Barangay Anti-drug Abuse Council) drug watch list of Calasiao who had surrendered during the implementation of Oplan Tokhang.
