Site Online Learning (SOL), an Australian eLearning company operating from Clark Pampanga, has participated in the Philippines’ first MoodleMoot in Manila Hotel last April 26-27, 2018.

In this event, the SOL team had an enjoyable encounter with Martin Dougiamas, CEO of Moodle. In his speech, he shared exciting things happening in the Moodle project and highlighted a number of Moodle core values including the value of openness, which according to him is defined as making everyone responsible.

Consequently, the SOL team will be releasing their new Learning Management System called Tempus which is built from Moodle.

This MoodleMoot event has allowed the SOL team to interact with other Moodle users. It has also validated the need of various industries for eLearning which are part of the development initiatives being undertaken with the Tempus LMS project.

Meeting Martin in person inspired the team to pursue working with Moodle and share their mission to empower educators to improve our world.

MoodleMoot is a conference being held in various places in the world which aims to gather a community of Moodle users to collaborate, share ideas and best practices. #
