1,500 Dagupeños join ColorManila’s fun run
SOME 1,500 Dagupeños joined the ‘ColorManila: Glitter Run Dagupan’ fun run in the city last April 8.
The De Venecia Highway Extension was covered by a myriad of colors and glitters as runners were sprayed with water and colored powders throughout the 3K, 5K and 10K distances.
After the runners completed their runs and received their finisher’s medals, a color festival was staged at the helipad in CSI the City Mall. Colored powder rained on the participants while they danced to the beat of the music.
“ColorManila promotes fitness while celebrating life, family and friendship through colorful fun runs which is why the event is part of the month-long celebration of the city’s Bangus Festival,” said filmmaker and avid participant Noubikko Ray.
“ColorManila is one of the most anticipated events in Bangus Fest. Not only do you get to exercise but, you get to have fun with your family and friends,” he added. (CIO/VDV)
