ROSALES—Before 2017 ended, SM City Rosales employees brought joy to 50 kids with special needs from the Simulation and Therapeutic Center here through ‘ChriSMiles’, SM’s gift-giving program.

The beneficiaries, among them intellectually gifted children, kids with disabilities such as autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, hearing, speech, visual and physical impairment, were treated to a fun-filled Christmas party and received gifts.

The SM workforce across the nation simultaneously held “ChriSMiles,” an annual Christmas activity that seeks to gift kids in need, said Kristine Santiago, public relations officer of SM City Rosales, in a statement.

Apart from the special gifts and games prepared by the employees, they received Bears of Joy toys collected for them.

The SM Bears of Joy is an annual charity project of SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom. For only P200.00, a customer can buy a pair of toy bears, where one goes to the customer and the other is left for donation.

All collected 431 pieces of teddy bears will go to Simulation and Therapeutic Center in Rosales. (Eva Visperas)
