Murder suspect arrested, escaped, caught

SAN CARLOS CITY—The suspect in the murder of a city councilor here was nabbed, escaped then caught on Dec. 5 in Barangay Buayang Bato, Mandaluyong City.

Combined police elements from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Police Regional Office 3, Tarlac City and San Carlos City arrested Pauline Peralta, 22, resident of Block 7, Sitio Pag- asa, Barangay San Vicente, Tarlac City for murder with no bail recommended.

Peralta’s arrest was based on a warrant issued by Presiding Judge Hermogenes Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 57 in San Carlos City.

Peralta is now detained at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in San Carlos City.

Peralta, suspect in the murder of Councilor Mienrado Ynzon in March 2016, was first arrested on Nov. 10, 2017 but escaped few hours while she was confined at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital after she collapsed and was quivering as she has just given via Caesarian operation two weeks earlier.

Peralta escaped through the back door of of the O.B. ward heading to the delivery room as her exit and was left unnoticed by her two police escorts.

Ynzon was found dead with stab wounds and his seatbelt was used by the suspect/s to strangle his neck inside his white Montero Sport vehicle parked on road shoulder about four kilometers away from his house on Dec. 7, 2015.
