SAN CARLOS CITY—A suspect in the murder of a councilor escaped hours after she was arrested on Friday, Nov. 10.

Pauline Ferrer, 22, native of Tarlac City, and recently residing in Barangay Manzon this city, escaped while she was confined at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH) here.

Ferrer was arrested based on warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Hermogenes Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 57 this city dated March 10, 2016 for the murder of Councilor Mienrado Ynzon.

The suspect was brought by police elements here at the PPH evening of Nov. 10 after she reportedly collapsed and was shaking feverishly following her arrest.

Ferrer had reportedly just given birth via Caesarian procedure weeks ago.

The attending doctors discovered she was missing around 12.30 midnight when they were making the rounds of the patients.

Ferrer reportedly exited through the back door of the O.B. ward, unnoticed by her two police escorts.

It will be recalled that Ynzon was found dead with stab wounds and his seatbelt was used by the suspect/s to strangle him inside his white Montero SUV found parked on road shoulder about four kilometers away from his house on Dec. 7, 2015.

He was driving his vehicle to attend the city council session in the morning when he was murdered. (Eva Visperas)
