VMUF earns accreditation for 7 programs

SAN CARLOS CITY- The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) has awarded seven (7) certificates to Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) for having satisfactorily met the standards and fulfilled all the requirements of the PACUCOA for Level III reaccredited status and is endorsed for certification to the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).

PACUCOA chairman Dr. Jaime M. Buzar said PACUCOA has accepted and approved the team’s recommendation that the University’s Science program (BS Biology); Arts Programs (Political Science, Psychology and English); Nursing Program; Master of Science in Teaching and Master in Public Health programs of the Graduate School; Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Elementary Education programs were granted Level III Reaccredited Status.

VMUF President Dr. Ma. Lilia P. Juan Juan congratulated the different deans for maintaining academic excellence in the University and commended the VMUF Quality Assurance Team (VQuAT) headed by Dr. Efren Y. Ignacio, Dean of the College of Information and Computer Studies for their guidance and supervision. (Norman Caguioa)
