Bataoil bikefest on Oct. 22
AFTER three months of inactivity in the cycling front due to the wet season, Pangasinan cyclists will start pushing their bike pedals anew when the Congressman Leopoldo N. Bataoil Cycling Challenge kicks off on October 22 in Lingayen in conjunction with the natal celebration of the province second district Congress representative.
The bikefest will be held using the criterium road system will run in three categories: 60 years old and above, 40 to 59, and the open division, the main highlight of the race.
According to event coordinator Engr. Rodolfo Dion, the hotdog shaped race will be staged around the Maramba Boulevard and will be run in multiple rounds for each category with cash prizes and medals at stake.
