Hitmen riding in tandem kill two in one day
LINGAYEN–A retired policeman and a 17-year old boy were gunned down by armed men riding in tandem in separate shooting incidents on August 29 in Barangays Vacante, Binalonan and Domingo, Urdaneta City, respectively.
The fatality in the first incident that occurred at 9:45 p.m. was identified as Dominador Urbiztondo, 54, who just alighted from his motorcycle when he was gunned down by motorcycle-riding unidentified suspects who stopped near him.
The second victim was identified as Errol Mendoza, an out-of-school boy who was shot also by armed men on board a motorcycle at past 7:00 p.m. while he was talking with another person in front of a sari-sari store in their village.
Mendoza was not hit in the first volley of fire and managed to run inside the sari-sari store. The gunman followed and shot him on the head.
