Ortiz said another batch of BAT members will undergo the seminar on September 18-19 at the same place.

Mayor Belen T. Fernandez lauded the efforts of the Dagupan Police and assured the barangay tanods that they will be provided with the equipment to patrol the barangay streets in order to maintain peace and order and in the protection of women and children.

We will do our part because mahirap din na kayo ay nag-duduty na wala man lang magamit na anuman para ma-maintain ang peace and order sa inyong barangay. Naging positive and reaction ng ilang mga dayuhan na nasa ating lungsod tungkol sa ating kampanya sa peace and order dahil sa suportang ibinigay natin sa ating kapulisan kaya I would like to congratulate our PNP under P/Supt. Ortiz for a job well done,” said Fernandez.

Fernandez was referring to the recent visitation of the Thailand Ambassador in the city who narrated to the mayor how their citizens in the city to spoke well of the city’s peace and order aside from being clean and stress-free to stay. (CIO/JCB)
