Capitol secures Php350-M loan for new equipment

LINGAYEN—The provincial government is set to secure a P350 million loan the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) to cover purchases of brand new heavy equipment, motor vehicles and hospital equipment for the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital and 13 other district and community hospitals.

The provincial board ratified in its regular session on Monday the loan agreement entered into by and between the provincial government represented by Governor Amado Espino III and the LBP represented by Jaime Cruz Jr., assistant vice president.

The SP said all the proposed purchases were approved and included in the annual investment program for the province of Pangasinan for Calendar Year 2017 and eligible for financing.

The loan is secured by the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of the province. (Leonardo Micua)
