Drug personality shot dead by riding-in-tandem suspects

SAN CARLOS CITY– A self-confessed drug pusher who surrendered but remained a drug personality listed on the watch list, was shot dead at 4:20 p.m., Thursday, July 6, in front of an eatery in Brgy. San Pedro-Taloy, San Carlos City.

The victim was identified by the police as one Manuel Erquisa, alias “Katat”, 33, when shot by two unidentified suspects riding in tandem on a motorcycle that stopped in front of him while he was alighting from his own motorcycle.

Erquisa suffered several gunshot wounds on his head and was rushed to the Virgen Milagrosa Medical Center in San Carlos City where he was declared dead on arrival.
