Capitol seeks maintenance of online job portal

LINGAYEN–The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) recently passed a resolution authorizing Gov. Amado Espino III to enter into a partnership agreement with Hotjobs Pangasinan for the promotion and maintenance of the online job portal www.hotjobspangasinan.com.

The resolution proposed by Third District Board Member Generoso Tulagan said HotJobs Pangasinan, being an employment website business entity provides information and advice to employers, employees and jobseekers, can serve as a tool to connect, and match local applicants with jobs online offered by Pangasinan-based and international companies.

The provincial government will support the partnership by inviting local companies, employers to post their job openings in the www.hotJobspangasinan.com.

HotJobs Pangasinan represented by Maria Jesusa B. Viray, features not only job posting/job opportunities of participating companies/employers but also serves as an online application facility; a talent data bank depository for jobseekers of Pangasinan.

In passing the measure, the SP finds the program useful to employers, employees and jobseekers as it will further enhance the employment services of the province. (Leonardo Micua)
