12-year old boy drowns in Alcala
ALCALA — A 12-year old boy who was reported missing 7:00 p.m. of July 25 was found floating along the Agno River in Barangay San Vicente, Alcala 24 hours later.
According to the police, the body of Jonell Sebastian, a special child, was found by a fisherman, Raymund Bautista, 41, at 7:20 p.m. of July 26.
The parents of the boy sought the assistance of Dr. Shirante Parayno, municipal health officer to conduct an autopsy on the body to determine if a foul play caused his death.
The victim was later confirmed to have died of asphyxia due to drowning. (Leonardo Micua)
