Urbiztondo on a rampage, 8-0 win

LINGAYEN – Urbiztondo’s team led by playing Mayor Raul Martin Sison remains undefeated after establishing its eight win in the 1st Pangasinan Inter-LGU Unity Games elimination rounds on June 9 by pushing out Aguilar team—by a 13-point advantage, 86-73.

Urbiztondo is still on top of the team rankings for Division II with 8-0 (win-loss) performance. It is trailed by Sta. Maria, 7-1 and Aguilar, 6-2.

In Division 1 (Western Conference), Bugallon’s efforts led by Mayor Jumel I. Espino were thwarted by Alaminos 92-89.

Alaminos trounced all its seven foes (San Carlos City, Bugallon, Santa Barbara, Calasiao, Mangatarem, Binmaley and Sual) making it undefeated with a 7-0 record, to lead the Division l Western Conference; San Carlos City, 5-1. Bugallon is at third spot, 5-2.
In Division 1 (Eastern Conference), Bayambang occupies the top post, 6-1, followed by Urdaneta City, 5-1, and Pozorrubio team, 4-2.

Gov. Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III launched the Inter-LGU Unity Games to create another event that will encourage more interaction from public servants in the province.

The Unity Games followed the 1st Governor’s Cup Inter-Town/City Basketball Tournament that pitted young cagers aged 18 to 24.

The 1st Pangasinan Inter-Agency Friendship Games will start on June 21 for employees of national line agencies. (PIO/RRB)
