Businessman survives attack

BAYAMBANG–A businessman and former village councilor of Bayambang town survived an attempt by a lone gunman to eliminate him on June 10.

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) said Alexandro Bravo, 63, sustained gunshot wounds on the right flank and left chest when the suspect shot him along an interior road in Sitio Palacpac, Barangay Buayaen here.

Bravo was rushed to the Sto. Nino Hospital where he was treated and later declared out of danger.

PPPO said Bravo was riding his motorcycle when the gunman ambushed him.

The suspect fled on foot going to the east direction.
