By June 3, 2017News, Sports

THE city’s platinum fun run dubbed as ‘Batik Ulupan’, originally scheduled on June 10, has been moved up to June 9.

The run that will start from the bridge fronting the National Bureau of Investigation building onto the CSI helipad along the Jose de Venecia Expressway Extension, will commence at 4:30 a.m. where zumba instructors will perk up everyone’s energy.

There will be three waves of runners: First wave will be composed of all children from public schools, the second will be high school students and the third wave will be composed of adults including college students.

Three water and command stations will be strategically located along the way, however, runners are advised to bring their personal water tumblers as there may not be enough water cups for all.

The De Venecia Expressway Extension will be closed from 12 midnight till 9:00 a.m.

Dry-fit t-shirts (P150 each) will be made available on the day of the fun run. (CIO/JCB)
