SM City Rosales’ medical missions

ROSALES— SM City Rosales through SM Foundation served some1,024 indigent patients through its medical-dental mission on May 24.

The mission that included forty volunteers, among them, eight doctors, five dentists and several nurses, treated patients that mostly consisted of senior citizens who are beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

The volunteers were from Rosales Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Elizabeth Alimoring, Region 1 Medical Center headed by Dr. Maureen Celi, Dr. Maria Kristina Alvendia and Dr. Nathalie Collado and the Philippine Red Cross.

The patients were provided free medical consultation, X-ray, electrocardiogram, random blood sugar test, uric acid test, cholesterol check, dental consultation and tooth extraction and received complete dosage of medicines and vitamins through the “Gamot Para sa Kapwa” medicine campaign.

SM Foundation also conducted medical mission recently in Bayambang. (SM)
