Drunk man swam in Agno River, still missing
STA. MARIA–Personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Sta. Maria town are still combing the Agno River in search of a man who dived there at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and failed to surface.
The police identified the still missing person as one Roberto Dacasin, 51, of Barangay San Jose, Urdaneta City who was under the influence of liquor when he dived into the river with his relatives at 3:00 p.m.
A search and rescue operations that lasted till the night was conducted to recover the body but failed.
The search was resumed early Wednesday covering the downstream portion of the Agno River where the body of the victim might have been carried by current from upstream. (Leonardo Micua)
