2 more buildings to rise in Capitol Complex

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Governor Amado I. Espino, III on May 3 led the ground-breaking for the construction of two more edifices at the Capitol Complex, here.
Governor Espino said the construction of the two buildings is very timely following the increase of tourists and guests in the province who choose the Capitol Complex as venue for convention or large gatherings.
To house the awards and recognitions received by the province since the administration of former Governor and now 5th district Representative Amado I. Espino, III, the Hall of Fame building or ‘Abong na Dayew’ will rise infront of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources building.

Described as ‘Little Urduja House’, the said building, according to the provincial chief executive, shall become a source of inspiration of the provincial government officials and employees and Pangasinenses whose hard work, effort and professional expertise catapulted the province to receive various awards.
“The building where the awards and citations received by the province will be enshrined is a due recognition to all Pangasinenses,” Gov. Espino said, adding that the second floor of the Abong na Dayew will also feature a function area which could be used by small group of people.
Meanwhile, a smaller and simplier version of the Sison Auditorium, the Pangasinan Training and Development Center (PTDC) II with an area of 50.00m x 30.00m = 1,500.00 sq.m. will soon rise at the PTDC compound.
The PTDC II is twice bigger than the old PTDC which has an area of 877.00 sq.m.
“Parami nang parami ang pumapasyal sa Pangasinan kaya nagkukulang ang ating mga facilities for conventions lalo na kung nagkasabay-sabay ang ating mga bisita,” said Espino, who pointed out that the construction of two more edifices at the Capitol Complex will be maximized to accommodate visiting delegates attending various conventions or events hosted by the provincial government. /Mark Gerry Naval Oblanca
