Tourism trade expo starts Apr. 5

LINGAYEN – The provincial government will stage its 10th Pangasinan Tourism and Trade Expo (PTTE) this week, April 5 at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center to officially mark the start of the Agew na Pangasinan and Pista’y Dayat celebrations.

Gov. Amado Espino III will lead province’s officials in opening of this year’s tourism and trade expo that will end on May 1.

Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) Chief Ma. Luisa A. Elduayan said the yearly exposition highlighting the province’s major tourist destinations and local products will have an added feature – the Capitol Food Park at the back of the Veterans Park.

The food park, organized in partnership with the Pangasinan Visitors Bureau, will showcase best seller items of popular restaurants in the province.

Other new attractions in this year’s PTTE, the first to be staged under Espino III’s administration, include Panag-Arte La Art Exhibit featuring paintings and photographs by “Liket Datek” Art Group in cooperation with the Pangasinan Lensmen.

Throughout the month-long expo, an array of collections and landscaping designs bonsai, garden and landscape will also be on display.

The expo will be open from 8AM to 11PM daily.
