Septuagenarian shot dead in Alcala

ALCALA–A septuagenarian man was gunned down on March 28 in front of his house in Barangay San Juan here.

The fatality was identified as Conrado Lucas, 70, who alighted from his Isuzu Sportivo vehicle to open the gate of his house when unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects shot him several times.

Lucas was declared dead on arrival in Sto. Nino Hospital in Bayambang town.

Investigators recovered four cartridges of caliber .45 at the crime scene.

The police eye land dispute as possible motive for the killing. (Tita Roces)
