LINGAYEN, Pangasinan- – -Art and photo enthusiasts will get a chance to see and appreciate more than a hundred visual art pieces of Pangasinense artists and photographers which are now exhibited at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center (PTDC).

No-less than Gov. Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III together with 2nd District Representative Leopoldo N. Bataoil led the opening of the event dubbed: “Panag-ARTe la and Photo Exhibit” on April 10.

Now on its 8th year, the exhibit which is presented by “Liket Datek” Art Group in partnership with the Pangasinan Lensmen and Pangasinan Visual Artists Group will run until May 2.

Impressed by the exhibit of the three groups, the Governor proposed for the inclusion of Pangasinan youth artists representing the six congressional districts in the next staging of the next exhibit.

As such, he urged the participation of the different schools in Pangasinan to discover the innate talents of the students and become part of the project in the coming days.

To make this possible, Gov. Espino said that contest per district in different categories should be considered. Winning entries, he added, will be displayed in the next edition of the art and photo exhibit.

The governor also thanked all Pangasinan artists who unselfishly shared their art pieces in the duration of the exhibit.

Meanwhile, Cong. Bataoil hailed the local artists as he further urged them to serve as advocates of skills and talents.
