Another businessman shot dead by tandem riders

A BUSINESSMAN was shot dead by two hitmen riding in tandem in Lingayen town.

Lingayen Police identified the victim as Joven Sta Cruz Cuison, 35 years old, businessman, presently residing in New Street East, Lingayen and a native of Barangay Lobong, San Jacinto.

According to the police, at  around 8:15 in the evening of April 6, the victim was having snacks in a store in front of the PNB in Avenida Street East, Lingayen when he was shot by two suspects riding in tandem on a motorcycle from behind hitting him on the nape.

The suspects sped off heading to Binmaley.

Lingayen Police are looking into the victim’s business and personal activities as possible motives for the ambush. (Nora Dominguez)
