PSU is 7th top performing state university

LINGAYEN—The Pangasinan State University was hailed as 7th top performing State University in the country by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) and bested 110 state universities and colleges (SUCs).

AACCUP applauded the PSU for its quality service having earned its ISO 9001:2015 Certification last February 16, 2017.

It was also cited its curricular programs accredited in all campuses, the number of certified and active faculty accreditors, awards received in AACCUP, institutions’ internal quality assurance (IQA) and support of the university to the IQA.

PSU has two programs that passed the Level 4 accreditation, six for Level 3, 13 Level 2 accredited programs, 20 programs on Level 1 and 21 candidates for accreditation.

Moreover, the institution under Dr. Dexter Buted, PSU president, has committed to further improve policies, procedures and instruction to ensure delivery of quality education.

Buted along with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gloria Domantay, Open University System Dean Dr. Gemma de Vera, Sta. Maria Campus Executive Director Dr. Priscilla  Agsalud, Quality Assurance Director Prof. Elbert Galas, Curriculum, Instruction, and Accreditation Director Dr. Rhodora Malicdem and On-the-Job Training Director Dr. Narciso Castro received the award in the 30th Annual AACCUP National Conference on February 15-17, 2017 at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila.
