Capitol inaugurates BSP building

LINGAYEN – The provincial government inaugurated the P3.4-M building it constructed as headquarters of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Region 1 located at the Maramba Boulevard corner Sto Nino St.

 Executive Assistant IV Ramon Morden, who represented Gov. Amado Espino III, reiterated the provincial administration’s full-support to the BSP.

Also at the unveiling of the BSP regional headquarters building and ceremonial turn-over, officiated by Rev. Fr. Hernan Caronongan, were Asst. Secretary General Rogelio Villa, Jr.; Regional Vice Chairman, DepEd Schools Division of Pangasinan 1 Superintendent Ma. Celia Fernandez, Regional Scout Director Imelda Samson and other scout executives in the region.

Morden pointed out that it was during the nine-year stint as governor of now 5th district Representative Amado T. Espino, Jr., who also serves as the BSP regional chairman, the scouting movement, that priority was given to scouting in the region.(PIO/MGNO)
