LINGAYEN –  The appointment of Police Director Roel Barcena Obusan as director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) was hailed by the provincial board.

Obusan hails from Poblacion, Laoac and is a member of the ‘Sinagtala’ Class of 1986 of the Philippine Military Academy and an alumnus of Manaoag National High School batch ’79. A decorated police officer, Obusan, a lawyer by profession was credited for the arrest of two high-profile criminals and a leader of the CPP-NPA. (PIO/MGNO)
