ESPINO CONVENES PROV’L SPORTS DEV’T COUNCIL. Gov. Amado Espino III convenes for the first time the newly-created Provincial Sports Development Council on February 4 at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office conference hall. Discussed were the establishment of the Pangasinan Sports Academy and other sports programs to be launched by the provincial administration. Present were Provincial Sports Consultant Modesto Operania, Provincial Planning and Development Office Coordinator Benita Pizarro and Provincial Information Officer Orpheus Velasco and sports coordinators of various school divisions of the Department of Education based in Pangasinan.
