Capitol launches unity games among LGUs

LINGAYEN – -Governor Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III is set to solidify the unity among local government officials and employees as public servants by organizing unity games.

The concept of unity games was bared by the governor during the city/municipal sports coordinators’ conference on February 4 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) Restaurant.

Elated over the success of the 1st Governor’s Cup Inter-Town Basketball Tournament, Espino said, keep the momentum, for the local government officials and employees.

Thus, the provincewide cagefest will be dubbed 1st Pangasinan Inter-LGU Unity Games will initially focus on basketball for men and volleyball for women.

Based on the tournament guidelines, the Pangasinan Unity Games 2017 will be open to all bona fide municipal employees of the different towns in Pangasinan.

Further announcements for the conduct of the unity games will be made soonest after plans will be finalized by the provincial government.
