Fake dentist arrested
ROSALES — A fake dentist was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the police with the help of the Philippine Dentist Association (PDA) Pangasinan chapter in Barangay Station District early morning of December 23.
The suspect, identified as Richard de la Cruz, alias “Repot”, 47, will be charged for Anti-Illegal Practice of Dental Medicine.
He was arrested after fitting the dentures of a confidential asset of the PDA-Pangasinan Chapter who pretended to be a dental patient.
The arrest was made after he received P1,400 marked money.
The operation resulted the confiscation of assorted dental materials.
De la Cruz threw away the marked money and attempted to escape but failed. (Leonardo Micua)
