According to the founding president Ms. Jacinto, YWCA Dagupan was founded way back in November 22, 1986.

The celebration, led by incumbent president Ely G. Datario, was held at the Computer Lab of the Dagupan City National High School.

YWCA seeks to build a fellowship for women and girls, helping them to face the challenge of the day with intelligence, courage, integrity and faith; to encourage social action under responsible leadership to develop in them the appreciation and understanding of all peoples, regardless of race, nationality, creed or social group.

In its 30th year, YWCA of Dagupan vows to continue to contribute its share in shaping the destiny of the country by encouraging young women to seek and accomplish new meaningful and productive tasks in the future.
