Two drug suspects shot dead in Dagupan

TWO days after a suspected drug personality was shot dead in Dagupan by still unidentified suspects on Oct. 4, another personality in the drug watch list was shot dead at 8:20 a.m.  Thursday, Oct. 6,  along a busy national highway in Barangay Mayombo here.

Shot dead by two armed men riding on a motorcycle was one Eric Estrada, a resident of Sitio Highlander in Barangay, Mayombo. He was included in the Barangay Anti-drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list of drug personalities.

Estrada was shot six times.

The victim last Oct. 4, identified as Rolly Yapchulay, 36, was also from Sitio Highlander, Mayombo but a native of Tuliao, Sta. Barbara. He had a pending case filed before the City Prosecutor’s office in Dagupan for violation of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Act of 2002 as amended.

He was shot by the backrider of a motorcycle driven by his companion, both of whom were wearing crash helmet. Recovered from the crime scene were three fired cartridges of caliber 45 pistol, one small heat -sealed transparent plastic sachet containing crystalline substance, and one small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing unknown liquid, inside the pocket of the victim.
