R1MC keglers rule bowlfest

2016 INTER-HOSPITAL CUP BOWLING TOURNAMENT

REGION 1 Medical Center keglers carded a five-day series of 15872 pinfalls to rule the 2016 Inter-Hospital Cup Bowling Tournament held recently at CSI Bowling Lanes in Tapuac, Dagupan City.

Skippered by Dr. Otto Raguindin with Mario Castro and Michael Mendoza at the helm, the RIMC squad dominated the event from day-3 to day-5, outclassing five other teams.

Elguira General Hospital led by Dr. Sammy Elguira landed second with a total of 15410 drops to dislodge Specialist Group Hospital Trauma Center of High Series individual winner Dr. Romy Tabayoyong who eventually placed third with 15236 points.

The Medical City of Dr. Juan Antonio Maximiano R. Escano finished fourth with 15033 marks while Nazareth General Hospital and Medical Centrum checked in fifth and sixth toting 15000 and 13336 drops, respectively.
Tournament director Jean Sunga said cash prizes and trophies were awarded to all the winners. (Jesus Garcia, Jr.)
