Conversion of Caranglaan School to Integrated school sought

THE Barangay Council of Caranglaan in Dagupan City sought the support of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) to endorse Barangay Resolution No. 40 requesting Fourth District Congressman Christopher De Venecia to allocate funds for the conversion of the Caranglaan Elementary School into an Integrated School.
In his resolution on Monday, October 3, Public Works and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Councilor Alvin T. Coquia disclosed that the conversion will redound to the benefit of poor students living in Barangay Tebeng, Bacayao Sur, Bacayao Norte and Mayombo.
Reports said junior students from Caranglaan have to travel long from their homes to the Dagupan City National High School where they are enrolled. Some others are enrolled at the Calasiao Comprehensive National High School. (Joseph C. Bacani/CIO)
