Comelec suspends preparations for barangay, SK elections
THE office of the Commission on Elections in Pangasinan has suspended all the activities in preparation for the SK and Barangay elections this October.
Lawyer Marino Salas, Provincial Election Supervisor confirmed that he received a memorandum order from the COMELEC office in Manila directing the suspension of all the activities for the SK and Barangay Elections.
It was confirmed that the request for suspension of the said elections is now ready for the signature of President Duterte.
Salas said his office is set to resume the registration of new voters in the third week of October. (Nora Dominguez)
