Dagupan resort owner shot, wounded
A RESORT owner in Dagupan City was wounded when he was shot by one of their two customers whose names were not known at presstime in a possible case of love triangle, at 6:30 p.m. of September 15 in Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City.
The victim was identified as Rommel Ramos, 54, owner of Demlas Beach Resort at Sitio Bliss Silungan, Bonuan Binloc and a native of Barangay Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija.
Initial investigation showed the suspects stayed at the resort from September 12 and the staff only knew them as province mates of their employer from Nueva Ecija.
When the suspects came up to the victim to pay, he was suddenly shot twice on the body. The assailant ran off with his companion who was already waiting outside the resort riding a motorcycle.
The victim was rushed to Decena Hospital but later transferred to Region 1 Medical Center hospital for medical treatment. Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells and two slugs of Cal. .45. (Leonardo Micua)
