Cattle rustlers arrested in Lingayen

LINGAYEN—Two cattle rustlers were arrested after they were caught red-handed by the caretaker stealing the cows on September 13 at Barangay Rosario here.

The suspects were identified as Aljine Molina, 25, resident of Barangay Bogaoan San Carlos City and Jeric Preito, 25 and a resident of Barangay Guelew San Carlos City.

Based on initial investigation, the caretaker, Eric Dela Cruz, whose house was near the cow’s resting place, saw the suspects stealing the two cows owned by Christian Grado.

The two were arrested by responding police whom Dela Cruz immediately called.

A follow up operation was conducted and resulted in the arrest of two other accomplice Jackelyn Garcia, 24, resident of barangay Caoayan Kiling, San Carlos City and Jonathan Prieto, 19, resident of Barangay Guelew, San Carlos City. (Hilda Austria)
