Two top drug personalities, 2 unidentified suspects killed

LINGAYEN—Four drug personalities, all listed as top drug personalities in various towns were gunned down by suspected vigilantes in separate incidents on July 18 and 19 in four areas in the province.
In San Carlos City, Ricky Poquiz, 36, businessman, resident of Barangay Tandoc, San Carlos City and listed as fourth top drug personality in the city, was reportedly shot dead by unknown motorcycle-riding gunmen.
Poquiz was shot in the head in Barangay Magtaking.
In Urbiztondo town, Lourd Anthony De Vera, listed as number one in the town’s drug watch list, was gun slain by two unidentified suspects along Mabini St., Barangay Poblacion.
In Laoac town’s Barangay Maraboc, an unidentified male was found dead with a message “Huwag tularan pusher” beside it.
The killings in San Carlos City, Urbiztondo and Laoac happened on July 18.
On July 19, another unidentified male with a tag “Pusher ako wag tularan” was found along the road shoulder in Barangay Dumpay, Basista town. (Tita Roces)
