Prov’l board hails Lapeña appointment

LINGAYEN— Members of the 9th Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), on Monday (July 11) hailed President Rodrigo R. Duterte ‘s appointment of Isidro Lapeña, a native of Urdaneta City as the director-general of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The SP resolution 3-2016, authored by Board Member Rosary Gracia Perez-Tababa, through approved provincial reads: “President Duterte’s appointment of Gen. Lapeña as anti-drug czar emphasizes the importance of having a man of character and integrity in charge of the new administration’s top concern” said the resolution.
Lapeña is former deputy chief of the Philippine National Police. – (Johanne Macob)
